Personal coaching for entrepreneurs
Being an entrepreneur is the best there is: coming up with or improving new ideas, concepts, products, services, procedures and so on and putting them on the market. Following your passion for something, believing in yourself and in your business. Entrepreneurship can be very challenging: unexpected problems, customers who drop out, competition, financial limits, staffing issues... With stress, worrying, insomnia, tension, uncertainty and frustration as a result.
A few alcoholic drinks, a joint, a line of coke or some pills can give you the feeling that you can let go of everything in the short term. A feeling of peace and relaxation for a moment... or rewarding yourself for all your hard work. But of course these effects are very temporary and if these substances are the only way to deal with problems, sooner or later things will go wrong. This creates an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, pills or other drugs.
As a coach and therapist in training, I cannot solve your problems. But by listening without judging, by acting as a sounding board, by asking questions, by confronting... there will be more insight into what is going on beneath the disturbing behaviour on the surface (e.g. too much alcohol, cannabis, cocaine...). What causes someone to keep ‘relapsing’ into old habits, despite the fact that he/she would like to use less?
During an initial exploratory conversation, we get to know each other better. You talk about your problem or what you want to change. I ask a lot of questions to get a clear picture of you and your problems. I not only use conversation techniques, but also work with photos, drawings, feelings and values cards, constellations, breathing exercises, meditation, body exercises, etc. to go beyond the story and explore together where the cause or core of the addiction lies.
It might also be good to know that you can also claim such sessions as expenses in the context of ‘stress management’. After all, as an entrepreneur it is important to invest time in your mental health.
